My city, Murcia

Murcia is a city in the south east of Spain close to the Mediterranean sea. It isn’t very big which is a thing I like because I can go on foot everywhere. Murcia’s people are very nice, we are friendly and beautiful. Another thing that I like about Murcia is its atmosphere during the night, the bars are opened until 3:oo a.m and you can spend a good evening with friends near to your home in those bars.

My school is called “Maristas” because it belongs to a religious community of monks. It’s a well-known institution in the city. The school used to be a monastery and during the Civil War an hospital. When it began to be a school, it was a boarding school only for boys, but now is for both boys and girls and it doesn’t have a lunch service.

We begin school at 8:00 a.m and finish it at 2:30 p.m. The school is splitted in two: The boys between 3 and 14 years old, that have to go to another centre; and the ones between 14 and 18, that have to go to my school.

The school has a canteen with so many kinds of sandwiches, there’s also two computer rooms and a music room. All the teachers are very nice and know how to teach really good but most of them are strict.

And how about you? What are your timetables in Turkey, France & Italy? Do you have a girls school or a boys school? What do you do in the evenings in the weekend?
